Customer Service Executive - Logistics & Freight Forwarding

Key Responsibilities:

Handle customer inquiries efficiently

via phone, email, and other communication channels, ensuring prompt and accurate responses that reflect a strong customer-first attitude.

Provide end-to-end customer support

, addressing queries related to shipments, documentation, delivery timelines, and service offerings.

Maintain regular communication with clients

, proactively updating them on the status of their shipments and promptly notifying them of any delays or issues.

Coordinate with internal departments

, including operations, documentation, and sales teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and resolution of customer concerns.

Assist in generating and nurturing sales leads

, forwarding inquiries to the sales team and helping follow up on potential business opportunities.

Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance

of client interactions, shipment details, and service requests in company systems.

Support the documentation process

by helping clients with required paperwork and ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies.

Build and maintain strong client relationships

, aiming for high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Identify and escalate priority issues

to the appropriate teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

English

Tamil

hindi

Basic computer proficiency

Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
