Logistics Supervisor

Full Time | On-site


Kanpur / Ghaziabad / Roorkee


6-8 Years Experience


Join Bharat Oil & Waste Management Ltd as a Logistics Supervisor to oversee transportation, fleet operations, procurement, compliance, and facility management across multiple sites while ensuring strict adherence to hazardous waste regulations.


Your Responsibilities

Transportation & Fleet Management

Manage transporters, drivers, and the BOWML vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with Government of India regulations Maintain all vehicle documentation including RC, insurance, and pollution certificates Ensure vehicles are equipped with required safety gear such as spark arrestors, GPS, and PPE kits Schedule BOWML and third-party trucks for daily waste pickups Oversee weighbridge operations and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing waste loads Ensure all vehicles have NOC approval under Rule 18 of the HOWM Rules, 2016 Monitor vehicle condition, enforce safety standards, track fuel usage, and prevent fuel theft

Procurement & Inventory

Manage vendor selection, negotiation, purchasing, and supervise the procurement team Conduct daily inventory checks and maintain accurate inventory logs Oversee procurement and usage records for treatment reagents

Operations & Compliance

Supervise daily operations including job assignments, workforce management, quality control, and cost efficiency Maintain mandatory records including Forms 3, 12, and 13 in compliance with Hazardous Waste Management Rules Oversee inspection, handling, and dispatch of saleable goods

Facility Management & Legal Compliance

Ensure compliance with pollution control, labor, fire safety, electrical, tax, and other legal requirements Address leaks or spills immediately and maintain facility hygiene standards Implement facility maintenance, repair, cleaning, and safety protocols Prepare safety reports and monitor hazard preparedness for fire, flood, and other risks

Waste Tracking System (WTS - Web & App)

Accurately record all pickups and fingerprint test results in the WTS Train staff on using the WTS Android App and approve manifests for transport Ensure same-day entry of data, fingerprint testing within 8 hours, and prompt issue reporting to Head Office

Qualifications

Graduate with a minimum of 6+ year's experience in logistics, fleet management, or related field Strong knowledge of hazardous waste transportation regulations Proficient in using web-based and Android applications for logistics operations Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work across multiple sites and manage operations in a fast-paced environment
