Summary A Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, supplies, and equipment from Import suppliers to the Port of India in the most economical cost & work with Foreign trade office & Finance for on-time License application & closuresRoles and ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.Manage and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve logistics issues.Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.Develop and implement logistics strategies to meet business objectives.Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.To work with DGFT & consultants on Advance License applications & closuresSpecific Tasks: *

• Route planning and optimization
• Freight forwarding and customs clearance
• Transportation management (air, land, sea)
• Freight audit and payment processing
• Logistics IT system management (e.g., OTM)
• Data analysis and reporting
• Budgeting and cost control

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in logistics software and technology (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP)
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws (e.g., FMCSA, IATA)
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CSCP)
