Prepare competitive freight quotations for air, sea, and surface shipments.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and transporters for best rates.
Ensure accurate costing, tariff application, and margin calculations.
Maintain rate sheets and update pricing database regularly.
Customer Care & Coordination
Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries regarding pricing, shipments, and service updates.
Manage customer communications, resolve complaints, and provide timely updates.
Coordinate with operations and sales teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and verify shipping documents (B/L, AWB, invoices, etc.).
Ensure compliance with company and international shipping standards.
Maintain records of quotations, customer interactions, and service reports.
Share daily/weekly reports with management on pricing trends and customer issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
2 years' experience in
logistics pricing / customer service
.
Knowledge of freight forwarding (air/sea/land), Incoterms, and logistics processes.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent communication (written & verbal) and customer handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and logistics ERP/CRM tools.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
