- Monitor the status of consignments moving from Silchar to Aizawl, maintain daily logs of dispatch, transit, and delivery, and follow up with drivers to ensure timely arrivals.
Coordination with Drivers & Stakeholders
- Act as the central point of contact between drivers, warehouse staff, and clients by providing delivery schedules, sharing updates, and resolving any route or vehicle-related issues during trips.
Supervise Unloading Operations
- Be present during unloading of material at client locations, ensure safe handling as per client requirements, and coordinate with client staff to avoid disputes.
Material Handling & Compliance
- Check for and report material damages, shortages, or mis-compliance immediately at the site, document issues with proper evidence, and escalate them to management for resolution.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain delivery sheets, Proof of Delivery (POD), and damage/shortage reports, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and submitted to management on time.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports covering trips completed, delivery timelines, damages or shortages, and compliance issues, while maintaining Excel-based tracking sheets and updating data regularly.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a bridge between the company and clients to ensure smooth operations, handle queries, and resolve concerns in a professional and cooperative manner.
System Skills & Languages
- Excel and basic computer knowledge are required for MIS reporting, data entry, and communication, with WhatsApp/Email used for updates. Knowledge of the
Mizo language is preferred
for smoother interaction at Aizawl delivery points.
