Qualification - Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience - Min 6+ years of relevant logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.

Salary - Upto 6 LPA CTC

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Logistics Manager

with strong leadership and operational skills to oversee the complete logistics and distribution cycle in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics processes, supply chain coordination, inventory management, and vendor negotiations, with a track record of efficiency improvements in a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics operations including inbound/outbound transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.

Ensure timely availability of raw materials and dispatch of finished goods to customers or distribution centers.

Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to synchronize supply chain activities.

Manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and transportation contracts to optimize cost and performance.

Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company goals, reduce cost, and improve service levels.

Monitor and analyze logistics performance using KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.

Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations in logistics operations.

Lead, mentor, and train logistics and warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse layout, inventory accuracy, and transportation efficiency.

Use ERP or logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS) for tracking and data analysis.

SKILLS

Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, including domestic and international shipping.

Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics tools (SAP, Oracle, WMS, etc.).

Proven experience in vendor negotiation and contract management.

Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards.
