Job Description

End-to-End Logistics Management:

Oversee procurement logistics, inbound/outbound transports, and cold chain operations for agricultural goods.

Inventory Oversight:

Monitor stock levels, manage perishable inventory, and coordinate with warehouse teams.

Vendor & Transport Coordination:

Manage relationships with transporters, third-party logistics (3PLs), and packaging vendors; negotiate rates and monitor service quality.

Route & Distribution Strategy:

Plan efficient distribution routes to minimize lead time and costs, especially for sensitive or perishable products.

Cold Chain Compliance:

Ensure product integrity via temperature-controlled storage and transportation systems.

Process Documentation:

Develop and maintain SOPs, logistics dashboards, and MIS reports to monitor performance and compliance.

Cost & Performance Monitoring:

Track logistics KPIs--including delivery timelines, freight spends, and shrinkage--and recommend cost-saving measures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with procurement, quality control, sales, and production teams to align logistics strategies with broader business goals.

Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure compliance with safety, phytosanitary, and transportation norms; manage customs and export requirements if applicable.

Problem Resolution:

Quickly troubleshoot delays, logistics issues, or client concerns and implement corrective actions.
