Key Responsibility Areas for Logistics Head

Strategic Planning & Execution

Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals. Forecast demand and plan capacity for warehousing and transportation.

Supply Chain Optimization

Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution. Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline logistics processes.

Vendor & Partner Management

Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with transporters, warehouse providers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and evaluate logistics teams across locations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Technology & Process Innovation

Implement and manage logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP). Drive automation and digital transformation in logistics operations.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, and inventory turnover. Present logistics performance reports to senior management.

Customer Service Alignment

Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Resolve escalated logistics issues affecting customer satisfaction.

Pay: ₹13,227.46 - ₹25,000.00 per month
