Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Maintain detailed maintenance records for each vehicle.
Monitor vehicle performance to identify potential issues and prevent costly repairs.
Transportation Management:
Oversee the transportation of products to various locations.
Coordinate with drivers and external transport agencies to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure proper documentation for every shipment and update records accordingly.
Monitor transportation costs and suggest cost-effective alternatives when necessary.
Material Movement Control:
Oversee and control incoming and outgoing materials across various locations.
Ensure accurate tracking of materials in transit.
Maintain communication with warehouses, suppliers, and customers regarding material status.
Verify that all shipments comply with the company's quality and quantity standards.
Vehicle Documentation and Management:
Manage and update vehicle records, including ownership, registration, and insurance details.
Track vehicle-related compliance requirements, including taxes and insurance renewals.
Ensure all vehicles have up-to-date licenses, roadworthiness certifications, and insurance policies.
Handle vehicle insurance claims and renewals.
Record Keeping & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including vehicle maintenance logs, transportation schedules, and material movements.
Ensure all logistics operations adhere to legal regulations and company policies.
Prepare reports on logistics performance and cost efficiency for management review.
Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, supply chain, procurement) to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, third-party vendors, and transport providers.
Address and resolve any logistical issues that arise during operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Any Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, vehicle fleet management, or transportation.
Skills:
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and taxes.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
