Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized

Logistics Manager

with at least 3 years of experience in managing warehouse operations within a

sheet metal manufacturing environment

. The ideal candidate will oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensure timely dispatches, manage inventory accuracy, and coordinate with production and procurement teams to maintain seamless material flow.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch. Ensure accurate tracking of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished sheet metal products. Plan and monitor inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and distribution. Develop and implement effective logistics strategies for cost optimization and timely delivery. Coordinate with production planning, purchase, and quality departments for material availability and flow. Maintain safety, hygiene, and security standards within the warehouse. Manage and supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics coordinators. Ensure proper documentation for all inventory and logistics-related activities (GRN, delivery notes, etc.). Handle third-party logistics (3PL) service providers and negotiate contracts where required. Use ERP systems for inventory control, stock movements, and report generation.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse/logistics operations, preferably in sheet metal or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of warehouse layout planning, material handling equipment, and safety norms. Proficiency in ERP/WMS software and MS Office. Good organizational, communication, and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and in coordination with cross-functional teams
