- Logistics Manager

Location: Manjusar, Vadodara

Experience: 5-6 Years

Qualification: Graduate (Any Stream)

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Dispatch Management:

Oversee complete logistics operations including inbound, outbound, and dispatch activities Plan and schedule daily/weekly dispatches based on production and customer requirements Ensure timely material delivery to customers and sites Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure adherence to safety standards
Vendor & Transport Coordination:

Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and logistics partners for vehicle arrangements Negotiate freight rates to optimize logistics costs Develop and maintain a reliable vendor network for transport and logistics services
Documentation & Compliance:

Oversee preparation of dispatch documents including e-way bills, challans, invoices, packing
lists, etc.

Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies related to logistics Maintain accurate records of dispatches, logistics expenses, and shipment tracking
Team & Process Management:

Lead, guide, and monitor the logistics/dispatch team for smooth operations Implement best logistics practices to streamline processes Monitor KPIs and prepare regular MIS/logistics reports Coordinate with production, stores, sales, and accounts departments for dispatch planning
Inventory & Cost Control:

Work closely with stores for material availability Monitor and control transportation and logistics costs Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational efficiency
Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of logistics, dispatch, and supply chain processes Proven experience in managing transporter networks and freight negotiations Good leadership and team-handling skills Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate (Any stream) 5-6 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain management Experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
