Role Overview
The Logistics Lead Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely movement of materials, coordinating with vendors, transporters, warehouse teams, and internal departments. This role requires strong communication, planning, tracking, and problem-solving abilities to maintain smooth logistics flow and high service levels.
Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments (domestic & international).
Arrange transportation, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery.
Handle courier bookings, freight quotations, and rate negotiations.
Maintain delivery timelines and communicate updates to relevant teams.
2. Vendor & Transporter Coordination
Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, courier partners, and warehouse teams.
Ensure best pricing, service reliability, and timely follow-ups.
Develop strong vendor relationships and maintain a database.
3. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and manage logistics documentation:
Delivery Challans
Invoices
Packing Lists
E-way bills
LR copies / POD
Ensure GST, compliance, and documentation accuracy for smooth dispatch.
4. Inventory & Warehouse Support
Coordinate with warehouse for stock movement, packing, and material readiness.
Monitor inventory levels, stock in/out, and maintain accurate records.
Keep track of damaged/returned goods and coordinate for replacements.
5. Tracking & Reporting
Track shipment status daily and maintain a tracking sheet.
Share dispatch updates with project, sourcing, and sales teams.
Maintain MIS reports on freight cost, delays, and performance KPIs.
6. Issue Resolution
Address delivery delays, shipment damage, wrong deliveries, or documentation errors.
Provide timely solutions and escalate when required.
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination & follow-up skills
Excellent communication (English & Hindi)
Knowledge of transportation, freight, logistics procedures
Hands-on with Excel, tracking sheets, ERP (if any)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work with tight timelines
Problem-solving mindset
Qualifications
Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain / Commerce / Business
2-5 years of experience in logistics or operations
Experience in furniture/interior/project-based logistics is an added advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
