We are looking for a high-performing
Sales Executive
with prior experience in
FTL logistics
to develop new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and drive revenue growth in the Mumbai area.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new customers requiring FTL services, especially manufacturers, distributors, and large traders.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Understand client logistics requirements and offer tailored FTL transport solutions.
Generate and follow up on leads, prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close deals.
Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
Coordinate with the operations and dispatch team to ensure smooth execution of transport services.
Resolve customer issues and ensure high service satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and activity reports.
Attend logistics trade fairs, client meetings, and networking events as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in logistics, with a strong focus on FTL services.
Solid understanding of transportation/logistics operations, pricing, and customer expectations.
Existing client base or industry contacts in Mumbai and surrounding areas is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel locally for client visits.
Own vehicle preferred.
