Head - Logistics

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

Oversee end-to-end supply chain--from costing/procurement to delivery--to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Planning & Coordination:

Develop and implement logistics plans; coordinate transportation and distribution activities.

Inventory Management:

Maintain optimal stock levels; ensure timely availability while minimizing carrying costs.

Transportation Management:

Select/manage transport modes, negotiate rates, and track shipments for on-time delivery.

Cost Optimization:

Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.

Performance Measurement:

Monitor KPIs to track logistics performance and drive continuous improvement.

Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate a logistics team; provide direction, coaching, and performance management.

Problem Solving:

Resolve logistical challenges swiftly to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transport partners.

Communication:

Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
