Core responsibilities

Supply chain oversight:

Manage the flow of goods from procurement to final delivery.

Coordination:

Work with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Inventory management:

Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability.

Transportation and logistics:

Coordinate transportation activities, monitor shipment status, and arrange for the movement of goods.

Contract and vendor management:

Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers, and evaluate vendor performance.

Problem resolution:

Address and resolve issues related to transportation and logistics, such as late or damaged deliveries.

Compliance:

Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company standards.

Reporting and analysis:

Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipments and invoices.
