Role Overview:

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics and transportation operations across assigned routes or client sites. This role ensures timely dispatch, efficient fleet utilization, manpower coordination, and compliance with company and client standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in transport operations, vendor coordination, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily dispatch and delivery operations across designated routes and client locations. Coordinate with drivers, loaders, and transport vendors to ensure timely departures and arrivals. Track vehicle movement through GPS and ensure adherence to TAT and delivery schedules. Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance schedules, and documentation (RC, insurance, permits, etc.). Prepare and maintain MIS reports on trip performance, mileage, delays, and exceptions. Ensure adherence to safety and compliance norms across logistics operations. Manage manpower allocation at hubs, cross docks, and client warehouses. Liaise with client operations teams for daily coordination and issue resolution. Support cost optimization initiatives and identify efficiency improvement opportunities. Train and mentor ground staff to maintain discipline, productivity, and SOP compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 3-6 years of experience in logistics, fleet management, or transport operations (preferably in B2B / Last Mile / Line Haul). Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and transport management systems (TMS / GPS portals). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Flexible to work in shifts and field-oriented operations.
