Job Purpose
The Logistics Executive in operations plays a pivotal role in managing and optimising the logistics and supply chain operations for our organization. This role involves overseeing the movement of goods, coordinating transportation, and ensuring efficient inventory management to meet customer demands while minimising costs. The Logistics Executive collaborates with various teams to maintain a smooth flow of products and information through the supply chain
Duties and Responsibility
Transportation and Logistics:
Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including carrier selection, route planning, and shipment tracking.
Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods, and handle any issues or delays as they arise.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to meet customer demand and company objectives.
Reports:
Generate regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate the performance of logistics and operations.
Qualification
MBA/PGDM degree
Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools for transportation management and inventory control.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
