Job Description

Logistics & Transport Management

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with transporters based on project requirements. Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and seek management approval before finalization. Periodically review transporter performance and discontinue underperformers with management sign-off. Maintain and regularly update transporter rate charts.

Material & Inventory Management

Monitor minimum stock levels in consultation with management. Coordinate with Purchase team and transporters for timely material delivery. Conduct regular stock reviews and raise procurement requests when needed. Visit stores periodically to inspect store operations. Review and report the status of unutilized materials with the Project Lead. Ensure periodic sale/disposal of scrap materials at sites or stores.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare transport-related documentation including E-way bills and insurance copies. Ensure submission of tax invoices and signed challan copies against POs to the Purchase team. Conduct periodic audits of material documentation at all stores. Compile and submit consolidated stock reports to management.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Guide, support, and monitor team members in daily operations. Ensure team is well-trained and motivated for high performance. Address team grievances and foster a productive work environment. Report monthly petty cash expenses.

Stakeholder Communication

Provide regular dealer feedback to the Purchase team. Coordinate with internal departments for smooth supply chain functioning.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
