Job Description

Plan and execute the dispatch of finished goods to dealers, distributors, and customers as per sales orders. Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, and drivers for timely delivery of goods. Prepare and verify dispatch-related documents such as invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills. Monitor shipment status and ensure on-time delivery with minimal transit damage. Optimize logistics routes to reduce transportation costs and improve efficiency. Oversee loading, unloading, and storage of goods in the warehouse. Ensure safe handling and proper stacking of products to prevent damage or mix-ups. Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain accurate inward and outward records. Support stock transfers between branches, service centers, and manufacturing units. Maintain daily stock updates for finished goods and packaging materials. Assist in monthly and quarterly physical stock verification. Report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the logistics manager. Coordinate with the purchase and production departments to align stock levels with demand. Prepare and maintain all logistics-related documentation accurately (GRN, DC, invoices, etc.). Ensure proper filing of dispatch records and transport bills. Generate e-way bills and comply with GST and transport regulations. Verify transporter invoices and assist in their approval for payment processing. Coordinate with the sales, production, and accounts teams for order fulfillment and dispatch planning. Communicate delivery schedules, shipment status, and delays to relevant departments. Liaise with vendors and transporters for smooth operations. Handle logistics-related customer queries promptly and professionally. Maintain daily dispatch reports and MIS for management review. Track delivery performance and logistics cost data for efficiency improvement. Provide weekly and monthly logistics performance summaries.
