Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle and have a good understanding of basic logistics and supply chain management processes.
- Communicate with customers, freight forwarders and other stakeholders regarding shipment.
- Create, maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Work with various internal and external logistics partners to timely transfer and arrange the delivery of the parts to the right locations.
- Sound knowledge of sales order dispatch, bill/invoice documents & related challans.
- Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Graduate / post graduate with 1- 5 years relevant experience in field of Logistics preferably from manufacturing industry
- Diploma/MBA in Logistics or SCM would be preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and E-Mails.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Working logically and systematically as per the company process.
- Immediate joining would be preferred.
