3-Month Internship (with potential for full-time role based on performance)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Executive Intern to oversee the efficient and effective management of our logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. The candidate should oversee and optimize our warehouse operations and supply chain activities. In this role, the candidate will manage inventory control, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate transportation activities, including shipments, deliveries, and returns.
Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to reconcile discrepancies.
Implement and enforce warehouse safety and security procedures.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage capacity for efficiency.
Implement systems to track and report order fulfillment metrics.
Resolve any logistics or warehouse-related issues promptly.
Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to prioritize and fulfill customer orders.
Monitor order processing, packaging, and shipping to meet customer expectations.
Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, customer service).
Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics/warehouse management (preferred).
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements:
