Job Description

The Logistics Driver is responsible for the

safe and timely delivery of goods, materials, or equipment

to customers, branches, or designated locations. The role ensures that all deliveries are handled efficiently, documentation is accurate, and vehicles are maintained in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver goods to assigned destinations as per schedule. Verify delivery documents, invoices, and ensure correct items and quantities are dispatched. Collect acknowledgments, signatures, and payment (if applicable) for delivered goods. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks (oil, water, tires, brakes, etc.). Follow all traffic rules and company safety protocols. Coordinate with the logistics coordinator/warehouse team for route planning and dispatch updates. Report any delivery delays, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately. Handle goods carefully to prevent damage or loss. Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and delivery notes. Assist in warehouse activities (loading/unloading) when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum

10th Standard

or equivalent education. Valid

Light / Heavy Vehicle Driving License

(as per job requirement). Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in logistics, courier, or goods delivery. Familiarity with local routes and GPS navigation. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and documentation.

Skills Required:

Excellent driving and time management skills. Strong sense of responsibility and reliability. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines. Physically fit and capable of lifting moderate weights.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
