Plan and schedule shipments to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping and customs regulations.
Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to track shipments and resolve any issues or delays.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
Manage contracts and negotiate rates with transportation providers.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Handle the dispatching of goods to different locations efficiently.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries regarding logistics matters.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in logistics and transportation.
Skills and Experience:
Fresher or 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of freight and transportation management.
Experience in contract negotiation.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
Prior experience in an engineering-related industry is a plus.
