Track and monitor each shipment to ensure timely delivery to clients.
Coordinate with clients to confirm receipt of materials and obtain written/email acknowledgment.
Liaise with courier agencies to book shipments and manage dispatch schedules.
Verify courier billing against Rate Contracts (RC) to ensure accuracy and cost compliance.
Initiate and follow up on insurance claims for damaged shipments, ensuring timely resolution.
Vendor & Partner Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new courier partners offering competitive pricing and faster delivery timelines.
Maintain strong relationships with existing courier agencies to ensure service reliability.
Negotiate rates and service terms with courier partners to optimize cost and delivery efficiency.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with the sales team to determine the appropriate mode of dispatch (surface or air).
Share shipment and courier charges with sales teams to support margin optimization.
Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders on shipment status and cost implications.
Technical & Analytical Skills
Maintain shipment records, billing data, and courier performance reports using Excel.
Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
Analyze courier costs and delivery timelines to recommend process improvements.
Soft Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with courier partners.
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with clients, sales teams, and vendors.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
