The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the storage, transportation, and delivery of goods. This role ensures that supply chain processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting customer requirements and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and warehouses.
Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status.
Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
Optimize logistics routes to minimize costs and delivery times.
Prepare and process shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
Handle issues related to damaged goods, delays, or missing shipments.
Support procurement and production teams with logistics planning.
Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in logistics or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations is a plus.
