Job Title: Logistics Coordinator



Location: Vadodara, Makarpura (HO).



Department: Logistics/Operations



Reports To: Logistics Manager



Job Summary:



The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics operations, including local bill verification, diesel usage monitoring for running vehicles, managing and reconciling driver expenses, and tracking vehicle tyre inventory and usage. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a strong understanding of fleet operations and cost control in logistics.

Key Responsibilities:



Local Bill Verification:

Scrutinize and verify all local logistics-related bills and ensure accuracy before forwarding for payment. Maintain proper records and documentation of all local transactions.

Diesel Consumption Monitoring:

Track and monitor diesel usage for all operational vehicles. Reconcile diesel expenses against kilometers run to identify anomalies.

Driver Expense Management:

Collect and verify daily/weekly/monthly expenses submitted by drivers. Maintain clear records and accountability of all expenses. Ensure timely settlement of approved driver expenses and allowances.

Tyre Inventory and Reconciliation:

Maintain accurate records of tyre issuance, usage, and replacement. Track tyre lifecycle and identify patterns of abnormal wear or misuse. Conduct regular tyre reconciliation and maintain inventory logs.

Coordination and Reporting:

Coordinate between drivers, operations, and accounts for seamless logistics operations. Provide weekly/monthly reports on fuel usage, expenses, and tyre status. Support logistics planning by providing relevant data and analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field. Fresher's / 1+ years of experience in logistics or fleet coordination preferred. Preferable if candidate have Strong understanding of vehicle operations, fuel consumption, and driver cost management. Proficient in MS Excel Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:



On-site presence may required to monitor vehicles and coordinate with drivers. May require occasional travel to fleet locations or vendor sites.
