Job Overview - Logistics Coordinator (Steel Industry)

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and overseeing all logistics operations related to the movement of raw materials and finished steel products. This role ensures smooth coordination between transporters, suppliers, production teams, and customers to achieve timely dispatches and deliveries. The coordinator will handle vehicle planning, weighbridge coordination, documentation, e-way bills, invoicing support, and tracking of shipments. The position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in record-keeping, and the ability to manage multiple dispatches in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment. The Logistics Coordinator will also monitor freight rates, liaise with transporters, and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements while maintaining efficient logistics flow.

Education & Qualification - Logistics Coordinator (Steel Industry)

Bachelor's Degree in any stream (preferably

Logistics

Supply Chain Management

Commerce

, or

Business Administration

). Additional certification in

Logistics

,

Supply Chain

, or

Transportation Management

will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of

MS Office (Excel, Word)

and basic computer operations. Understanding of

logistics documentation

e-way bills

invoicing

, and

transport coordination

. Familiarity with

ERP/Tally

or any dispatch management software (preferred). Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage fast-paced operations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
