Job Description


Logistics Coordinator is accountable for organizing, managing and preparation of Logistics/Transport documentation in order to achieve required safe and on-time delivery of procured equipments. The position involves actively coordinating with Procurement, Project Management and Lead Discipline Specialists / Engineers to ensure timely delivery of all procured items and equipments. The position shall contribute to the development of the E&C Logistics organization, and procedures in order to maintain global standards and to ensure smooth supply chain execution of E&C Projects. Logistics Coordinator also supports Supplier Business Function as required, during proposal phase of projects. The Logistics Coordinator is also in charge for ensuring proper documentation for Export / Import purpose. Operational Effectiveness: Prepare Commercial Bid Analysis (CBA) under Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) consideration Support to conduct of pre-award negotiations by Logistics Manager Prepare the documents in order to recommend issuance of Purchase Order. Negotiate with suppliers directly or support team with negotiations for entire Logistics requirement. Ensure proper documents preparation for timely submission to Regulatory authorities (Notified Bodies) Customs Central Excise & Service Tax department-Govt of India, Director General Foreign Trade (DGFT) & Joint Director General Foreign Trade (JDGFT) & Norm\'s ratification committee, SEPC (Service Export promotion council), Special valuation Branch (SVB) and coordinate with Custom House Agents (CHA) for Export / Import clearance. Ensure support to insurance matter clarification / claim management Support to Identify track and report key performance indicators / performance metrics Coordination with Customs House Agents for timely obtaining of Export and import clearance. Support Project team by meeting to Project Procurement Plan (PPP) targets, ensuring that documents are well in order as per requirement of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax department. Prepare documents with proper supporting in order to establish the Detention and Demurrage payable to Customs, Transporter, Shipping Liner, Container Owner and Freight Forwarder Bachelors Degree in Any Field; Professional Certifications in Business Administration. 6 to 8 Min years of Logistics experience with at least 1 years in an equivalent position in an EPC Company Experience with related Agencies like DGFT, Engineering Promotion Council, Freight Forwarders, CHA etc is desirable. Good Proficiency in English
