Job Description

:

The Logistics Assistant provides administrative and coordination support to the logistics and supply chain team. The role involves managing documentation, coordinating with vendors and transporters, monitoring inventory records, and assisting in ensuring smooth daily logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Handle logistics-related documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, gate passes, packing lists, and shipment records. Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and internal departments. Track and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain and update inventory and stock records in the system. Assist in scheduling deliveries and pickups Prepare reports related to logistics activities, delays, and dispatches. Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems. Communicate with transport agencies for dispatch schedules and delivery follow-ups Support the logistics manager in daily administrative tasks. Address basic queries related to shipment status and documentation.

Required Skills:



Good communication skills in English. Basic understanding of logistics and transport coordination. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel). Strong follow-up and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple client interactions efficiently.
