Job Title Logistics and Transportation Specialist
This role will oversee day-to-day operations across warehousing, domestic distribution, and international trade. You will lead a high-performing team to ensure 100% inventory accuracy and seamless e-commerce / Q-commerce fulfillment while managing 3PL partnerships and leveraging advanced analytics to drive cost efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
Warehousing & Inventory Control:
Coordinate with 3P for managing the inventory in different warehouses pan India and both inbound & outbound capacities on ground.
Enforce rigorous Inventory Controls, including daily cycle counts, wall-to-wall and full-scale audits, aiming for 100% location accuracy.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to improve workflow and space utilization.
Distribution & Logistics Management:
Coordinate domestic distribution and final-mile delivery schedules.
Oversee Import/Export documentation and compliance with international trade regulations to ensure timely border crossings.
Manage 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners, monitoring their performance against contractual SLAs and KPIs.
E-commerce & Quick commerce Operations:
Manage multi-channel fulfillment workflows, ensuring high speed and accuracy for online orders.
Oversee Reverse Logistics (returns) to maximize recovery value and maintain customer satisfaction.
Manage customer claims on deliveries and timely closing the cases for account settlement.
Analytics & Reporting:
Utilize Power BI and Advanced Excel to create interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring of supply chain KPIs.
Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements (Lean/Six Sigma).
For order to delivery process conduct timely Failure Mode analysis to identify potential risks and prepare plans for mitigation
Stakeholder & Team Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (Procurement, Sales, Finance) and external vendors.
Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff; manage labor schedules based on projected order volumes.
Visit 3P warehouses regularly for facility audit and hygiene check.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: MBA in supply chain management, Logistics, or Business from tier-2/3 colleges.
Experience: 5-8 years in warehouse/distribution management, ideally in a fast-paced 3PL or e-commerce environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros) and PowerBI.
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Core Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills for managing vendors and 3PL relationships.
Proven ability to resolve quantity, pricing, and quality discrepancies.
Deep understanding of IMPEX and health and safety (OSHA) regulations.
Proven skillsets for managing end to end supply chain

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
