Coordinate and manage logistics activities including material dispatch, tracking, and delivery.
Handle purchase activities such as vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, and order finalization.
Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, GRN, and stock records.
Negotiate with vendors and transporters to ensure cost efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of materials.
Work closely with the production and accounts team to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and timely reporting to management.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely payments and deliveries.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of logistics and purchase operations in the manufacturing industry.
Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic ERP systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce/Business Administration/Logistics or related field.
Relevant work experience in logistics and purchase (2-5 years).
