Overview In support of having a high performing procurement team this person is the single point of contact for Move scope across Global Business Service (GBS) activities bridging Regional/Local Procurement agenda and task with GBS. Find ways to optimize and unlock best in class collaborative working model. The role will also lead a small team of buyers managing project-based procurement activities in Move scope. The person may directly manage some medium / large scale end to end procurement events. These projects will be aligned during annual operation plan. The person will be part of Logistics Procurement leadership team sharing responsibility for the functional agenda in the sector. Responsibilities Contribute actively to achievement of overall Business and Procurement objectives. i.e., Capacity management at competitive cost, also delivering Pep+ agenda Ensure capabilities covered by Global Business Service (GBS) functional expertise deliver expected service to sector. Technical use of the tendering tool Market insights, Spend analyses and Reporting Delivering best in class, end to end, procurement events in the scope Work closely with regional/local Logistics procurement leaders to secure one team approach through open communication and collaboration. Work closely with market stakeholders and suppliers to ensure deep understanding of requirements, build credibility & trust, and phasing of support request to build a solid execution plan. Propose and optimize ways of working by finetuning and leveraging tools, toolkits and GBS team set up (as per requirements and learning) Continuously delivering against stretched short term objectives (going beyond should be the motto) Comply with regional/local procurement Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls. Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree Strong background in Procurement (9-11 years), preferably within FMCG environment and with proven track record in manufacturing procurement including sourcing and contracting processes and/or outsourcing initiatives. Overall excellent knowledge of procurement processes and category sourcing approaches in best-in-class procurement organizations and ability to implement them in complex environment. Proven leadership record of accomplishment. Good business acumen, knowledge of financial fundamentals, and excellent analytical and computer/systems skills. Strong internal customer management skills: capacity to listen, understand and capture internal clients\' needs and deliver appropriate solutions. Strong collaboration skills and ability to perform in virtual & matrix organizations. Analytical thinking and setting the agenda. Ability to influence others. Ability to work in matrix organizations/ Strong in collaboration. Strong negotiation skills and seven step sourcing process knowledge Results driven and customer service oriented Ability to identify opportunities and influence Pep+ sustainability agenda
