Job Description

Quotation & Pricing:

Prepare and issue competitive pricing for logistics services including air freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL), land transport, warehousing, and customs clearance. Respond to pricing requests from the sales and operations teams promptly and accurately. Develop customized pricing solutions for tenders, RFQs, and spot rate inquiries.

Vendor & Carrier Coordination:

Liaise and negotiate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents to secure best possible rates. Maintain strong relationships with carriers and service providers to ensure pricing competitiveness.

Market Analysis & Strategy:

Monitor and analyze freight market trends, carrier surcharges, and competitor pricing strategies. Suggest pricing strategies and margin structures to maximize profitability.

Documentation & System Management:

Ensure accurate input of pricing data into internal systems and CRM tools. Keep updated records of rate sheets, contracts, and vendor agreements.

Cross-Functional Support:

Support the sales team in client meetings by providing pricing insights and solutions. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth handover from quote to execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in pricing. Strong knowledge of international shipping terms (Incoterms), freight documentation, and customs procedures. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics pricing platforms. Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
