About the Role
The Locums Recruiter connects top Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (NPs, PAs), and CRNAs with hospitals and healthcare facilities across the U.S. for short-term and long-term assignments. The role focuses on quality, compliance, and a provider-first approach.
What You'll Do
Source and recruit qualified locum tenens providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, CRNAs) through job boards, internal database, outbound calls, social media, email campaigns, and referrals.
Maintain a consistent pipeline of active candidates by submitting at least 5 qualified providers weekly.
Achieve a minimum of 3 placements (start/closure) per month.
Manage full-cycle recruiting--from initial outreach, screening, and presenting candidates, through credentialing and post-placement relationship management.
Build long-term relationships by understanding provider needs and aligning them with open assignments.
Collaborate with sales, credentialing, and account management teams to ensure timely and compliant placements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ATS/CRM platforms.
Track recruiting KPIs and continuously improve based on performance goals.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of staffing or recruiting experience, ideally in healthcare or locum tenens.
Proven track record in high-volume recruiting/sales environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and accountability to performance metrics.
Tech-savvy with experience using ATS/CRM tools (Bullhorn preferred).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
A passion for improving access to quality healthcare.
