We are seeking a driven and focused Telesales Representative to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in telesales and be confident when speaking to customers. The focus of the role is to call customers, advise of the availability of products and services available for purchase and entice customers to buy the product or service.
Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, referrals, and networking.
Conduct product presentations and explain the features, benefits, and terms of credit card offerings.
Assess the financial needs and eligibility of customers to recommend suitable credit card products.
Process credit card applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs as set by the bank.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of credit card products and industry trends.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with cardholder concerns.
Collaborate with team members and sales managers to strategize and implement effective sales campaigns.
Stay compliant with all relevant regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports and updates to the sales manager.
Make outgoing calls to customers to advise them of products and services that may be of interest to them.
Take customer information and update it in the database as required.
Put through relevant sales and contracts for sales of goods or services.
Explain products and service features to clients.
Pass on leads to the outbound sales team if applicable.
Upsell and cross-sell other products that may be useful for clients.
Understand the customers' needs and tailor the service to their needs.
Be patient with a polite and customer-focused telephone manner.
Update customer information such as change of address and phone number when requested to do so.
Follow-up calls with emails if required.
