About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Loan Broker Administrator with solid knowledge of the Australian lending and mortgage industry. The successful candidate will support brokers in processing loan applications, managing client files, ensuring compliance with Australian Credit Licence (ACL) regulations, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities


------------------------


Manage end-to-end administration of loan applications across multiple Australian lenders.


Collect, review, and verify client documentation (income statements, payslips, ID, property details).


Accurately enter and maintain loan applications in broker CRM systems (Mercury, MyCRM, Podium, or equivalent).


Liaise with Australian banks, lenders, solicitors, and clients to track application progress.


Ensure compliance with

NCCP Act, ASIC, and industry standards

.


Prepare loan comparisons, preliminary assessments, and compliance documents for broker sign-off.


Provide regular updates and clear communication to clients throughout the loan process.


Assist with loan settlement coordination and post-settlement follow-ups.


Maintain accurate records and audit-ready documentation.


Support general office administration and broker scheduling.

Requirements



Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory:

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in mortgage/loan administration in the Australian market.


Strong understanding of Australian lending processes, loan types (home loans, personal, commercial, asset finance), and compliance.


Proficiency in broker CRM software and lender portals.


Excellent communication and relationship management skills.


Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.


Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and digital documentation.


Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (preferred but not essential).

Preferred Attributes




Previous experience working with a finance brokerage or aggregator in Australia.


Strong client service focus and ability to build rapport quickly.


Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously.


Proactive, organised, and a team player.
