Responsibilities:
1) The position is responsible for managing & administration of the company Payroll shared services and ensuring compliance and accuracy in monthly Payroll activities.
2) The role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll
3) Overall responsibility for driving the Payroll Process administration (Input collation, Reconcile earnings and deduction totals, attendance management, coordination with regional teams, Verification & reconciliation of monthly payroll)
4) Manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to be accurate and truthful i.e., Investments declaration, Form 16, Tax Returns.
5) Ensuring timelines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance (Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages)
6) Responsible for MIS and Analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits with Standardization of reports for better decision making
7) Preparation & Submission of Quarterly and Annual TDS returns
8) Responsible of publishing monthly Payroll Dashboard
9) Ensure Monthly payroll provisions to Finance
Career Growth:
Manager - Payroll and Statutory Compliance can be later groomed into a C&B person
Competencies :
1) Proven working experience as Payroll Executive
2) Demonstrated proficiency in payroll and HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other databases
3) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4) Strong analytical, high attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and creative problem-solving skills
5) Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed and think and act independently while also being team oriented
6) Good follow-up skills: the ability to understand; adaptability to process changes; and a strong sense of importance and ownership
