Job Summary:

The Loading Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of goods in a warehouse or logistics hub. This role ensures that shipments are prepared accurately, safely, and on time while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and containers. Ensure accurate dispatch of shipments as per delivery schedules. Verify materials being loaded match the delivery challan/invoice. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams for smooth operation. Inspect packaging and loading to ensure safety and avoid damage during transit. Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing goods. Monitor and enforce safety and cleanliness standards at the loading dock. Allocate tasks to loading staff and ensure productivity targets are met. Handle workforce scheduling, attendance, and basic training. Resolve loading issues, delays, or discrepancies effectively. Report daily loading activities and any irregularities to management.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics supervision. Strong knowledge of warehouse and transport operations. Ability to read and interpret dispatch documents and delivery schedules. Good leadership and team-handling skills. Basic knowledge of inventory and documentation procedures. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with safety and quality control procedures.
