Job Description

Supervise and monitor loading/unloading operations to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Plan and allocate manpower efficiently for daily operations, ensuring minimal idle time and maximum productivity. Verify the condition, quantity, and type of goods/materials being loaded or unloaded against documentation. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams to avoid delays and ensure smooth material flow. Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing goods, including weighbridge slips, gate passes, challans, and delivery notes. Ensure proper stacking, securing, and handling of goods to prevent damage during loading/unloading. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with workers before operations. Monitor equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to ensure they are in safe working condition. Report any discrepancies, damages, or delays to management immediately. Train and guide loaders, helpers, and other support staff on safe and efficient practices. Enforce compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and client-specific requirements at all times.
