Job Summary:

The Loader/Unloader is responsible for handling shipments and parcels within the courier facility. The role involves loading and unloading consignments from vehicles, sorting packages, and ensuring safe and efficient movement of shipments within the hub or warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload shipments from delivery vans, trucks, and containers safely. Sort parcels as per destination, size, and delivery route. Verify the physical condition of packages during handling and report any damages or discrepancies. Assist in stacking, labeling, and organizing consignments in the warehouse. Coordinate with delivery executives and hub staff for timely dispatch of shipments. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the loading/unloading area. Operate hand trolleys, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment as required. Follow company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum qualification: 8th to 10th pass (Higher secondary preferred). Prior experience in courier, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred. Physically fit and able to lift heavy packages (up to [mention weight limit, e.g., 25 kg]). Basic understanding of package labeling and handling procedures. Team player with good coordination and time management skills. Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and peak periods.

Work Environment:

Warehouse / Hub operations area. May involve long hours of standing, lifting, and physical work. Use of safety equipment (gloves, shoes, vest, etc.) mandatory.

Compensation:

As per company policy and experience.
