Loader & Unloader - Print and Packaging

Production Supervisor / Dispatch Incharge

Job Summary

The Loader & Unloader is responsible for

handling materials, printed sheets, packaging boards, cartons, and finished goods

within the printing and packaging plant. The role involves

loading, unloading, stacking, and moving materials

safely and efficiently to support smooth production and dispatch operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling

Load and unload

raw materials, printed sheets, cartons, and packaging materials

from delivery vehicles or production lines. Transport materials to the designated storage or work areas. Ensure correct identification and handling of materials as per production requirements.

Production Support

Supply

raw materials, sheets, or packaging boards

to machine operators (printing, punching, die-cutting, pasting, etc.). Remove finished goods from machines and transfer them to inspection or packing areas. Assist operators during machine setup and material changeovers.

Storage and Stacking

Properly

stack and store

materials to avoid damage and ensure space efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage and loading areas.

Dispatch and Delivery

Assist in

loading finished goods

into trucks for dispatch according to delivery schedules. Verify

quantity and packaging

before loading to ensure accuracy. Handle materials carefully to prevent tearing, crushing, or bending.

Safety and Maintenance

Follow all

safety rules and use PPE (gloves, shoes, back belt, etc.)

while working. Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, or mechanical issues. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Minimum 8th to 10th pass (Basic literacy required).

Experience:

0-3 years experience in

material handling, loading/unloading, or warehouse operations

, preferably in the

print & packaging industry

.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to

lift and move heavy loads (up to 25-30 kg)

. Must be physically fit and able to stand or move for long hours.

Skills:

Basic understanding of

safety and handling procedures

. Teamwork and discipline in following supervisor instructions.

Work Environment

Factory / warehouse environment with frequent lifting and movement of materials. Exposure to

noise, paper dust, and machinery

. May require working in

rotational or night shifts

.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
