Job Description

Legal Litigation Associate who will represent the Firm's clients in the various courts around Bangalore.

Minimum Requirements

(if any of these requirements is not met, please do not apply):

1) 2 years minimum litigation experience

(BANGALORE LITIGATION EXPERIENCE ONLY)

2) Must be fluent in English and have the ability to write Engish

3)

Must speak and understand Kannada.

Preferred candidates will be able to read and write Kannada as well.

4) Ability to work in a structured, performance-driven Senior Counsel Litigation Office

5) Willing to put in the hours it takes to complete thorough research, make notes and ensure that cases are handled and clients are updated

Must be based in the Bangalore area

and have reliable transportation

7) Must be able to work Monday - Saturday (Court functioning days) and half days on Sundays.

8) Must be able to adapt quickly to changes and embrace new ideas.

Expectations: The successful associate will:

be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. be intimately familiar with court proceedings and litigation work be assigned to specific courts at the discretion of Sreevatsa Associates and will be required to ensure that they are well prepared to represent the Firm's clients in those courts. be able to work in a structured framework and meet strict deadlines, billing/collection goals, be PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL & ACCOUNTABLE. conduct themselves with INTEGRITY at all times to ensure that they are the best representation of Sreevatsa Associates. be expected to do excellent quality research and drafting complete any assignments or tasks in a timely manner with attention to detail and quality of work be expected to abide by the code of conduct set forth by Sreevatsa Associates and will be held accountable be adaptable to new systems, policies and procedures being put in place to realize the Sreevatsa Associates' vision. be able to engage effectively with clients and ensure that clients are happy and payments are collected in a timely manner. be able to hit performance targets set by Sreevatsa Associates
