To carry out liquid painting operations safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards, while ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and adherence to environmental and safety norms.
Key Responsibilities:
Workplace Readiness:
Ensure painting area, machines, and equipment are clean and ready before starting work daily.
Safety Compliance:
Always wear required PPE: face mask, gloves, goggles, and apron during operations.
Pre-Operation Checks:
Inspect incoming materials for rust, dust, or poor surface finish.
Check the condition of the paint spray gun before use.
Paint Mixing & Application:
Follow correct paint mixing ratios and check viscosity.
Operate using prescribed air and fluidizing pressures.
Maintain quality in line with hourly production targets (as per norms).
Quality Assurance:
Verify product quality with QAD inspector.
Confirm lab testing results with the Lab Technician.
Documentation:
Update daily production quantity in the production report.
Batch Processing:
Weekly, bake finished materials in the batch oven as required.
Post-Shift Duties:
Clean and return used paint & thinner cans to the store.
Do not leave paint/thinner cans open; seal after use.
Waste Handling:
Remove and log paint sludge from booth weekly; send to hazardous storage.
Monthly, clean sludge pit, record weight, and store as per hazardous waste protocols.
Equipment Maintenance:
Keep all painting tools and machinery clean and in good working condition.
