We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team. As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our Linux-based systems. You will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our infrastructure to meet the needs of our organization. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and patches as needed.
- Install and configure new hardware and software.
- Automate tasks through scripting and other tools.
- Manage and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems.
- Provide 24/7 support for critical issues when necessary.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1 year of experience in Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in Linux OS (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python).
- Understanding of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
