Role - Linux System Admin
Location - Mumbai
Notice Period - Immediate joiners only
JD-

• Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware/OS related issues as they arise.
• Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, servers, switches, security updates.
• Develop and maintain procedures and working practices for the efficient and effective running of all tasks associated with operating and controlling installed hardware and software.
• Schedule and supervise all maintenance and installation work, including major configuration changes and upgrades.
• Influences design and development of new and changed systems and services to optimize. operational efficiency and contributes to definition of associated standards and techniques.
• Liaison with all service vendors like Brocade, EMC, Dell, for management and support of storage infrastructures for Zoning.
• Architectural knowledge of Enterprise SAN.
• Architectural knowledge of SAN FC switches
• Hands on knowledge of supporting L2,L3 operational activities troubleshooting in the areas of storage arrays.
• Hands on knowledge of zoning and its trouble shooting.
• Good understanding working knowledge on EMC geo replication.
• Good understanding working knowledge on EMC Storage technologies (Power Vault ME5024 and ECS 5000)
• Assist application teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
• Raise tickets with OEM as and when required and take follow ups.
• Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.
• Complete knowledge of Dell Servers
• VMware Virtualization hands on knowledge
• Unix and windows Administration.
• SLA management and report preparation.
• Document preparation as per ITIL framework, SOP, RCA, SIP, ABD etc.
• Perform BCP Drill and sustain RPO and RTO as per SLA.
• Participation in VA, PT activities
• Team player, self-motivated, up to date in Information technology
• Good Communication
