• Well conversant in using CLI mode for Linux management.

• SSH Administration and Management

• Install / Update / Upgrade Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/RedHat)

• Install / Update / Upgrade / Uninstall Software Packages

• User / Group Management

• Network Configuration and Management

• Monitoring (RAM and Network)

• System Health Check (RAM and Disc Space)

• Samba Configuration

• FTP Installation and Configuration

• MySQL Administration and Management

• Backup / Restore MySQL Database

• MongoDB Administration and Management

• Node Administration and Management

Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordinating internally with development team members

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot various networking devices, servers and workstations

• Monitoring and Backup Linux and Windows Servers to ensure proper functioning of all servers and its services

• Services and Cron Management

• Monitoring and Backup windows and linux Clients/Workstations to ensure smooth functioning of all desktops/laptops for the developers to work.

• Day to day Operational issues, requests and Project tasks

• Respond and resolve escalated incidents, problems or outages and accurately report and document solutions. Coordinate with Leased Line Network providers in case of outage and get the network up and stable.

• Troubleshoot network performance issues using various performance and monitoring tools

• Create, review, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures

• Firmware or OS upgrade and patching of related networking devices

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all networking devices and network services

Required Experience, Skills and QualificationsKnowledge on the following would give you an extra advantage:

• Hands-on experience in Shell Scripting

• Experience in managing and configuring GIT

• AWS Management
