Job Title: Linux QA : The candidate will work on QA of the Hot copy driver for ConnectWise Server Backup Manager solution. He/She will work in close coordination with the ConnectWise Engineering team and will be involved in testing for the Hot copy driver. The Candidate will also be required to interact frequently with customer to understand their pain points and help resolve them. Responsibilities :-
- work on QA for the hot copy driver
- Work on compiling and building the Linux OS\xe2\x80\x99s
- Work on testing for the new Linux kernel versions
- perform Security , performance and longevity testing
- perform functional testing for all supported features on all supported operating systems
- Ensure automation scripts are updated to support all operating systems
- Ensure regular updates are provide during Scrum meetings and weekly meeting with customer
- Ensure regular status updates are send through email
- Collaborate with ConnectWise team for :-
- for progress and regular updates
- with customer product management during release planning and task
- with customer leads for guidance
- minimum 4+ years of testing experience
- experience of testing of linux device drivers is required
- Well versed with Linux internals
- strong knowledge of Linux file systems
- knowledge of scripting especially shell is required
- strong analytical ability
- Good verbal and written communication
- ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
