About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled

Linux IT Administrator

with hands-on experience in

end-point management

to manage, monitor, and optimize our Linux-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system uptime, enforcing security protocols, automating IT processes, and ensuring seamless identity and device management via JumpCloud.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, support, and troubleshoot Widnows, Mac, Linux-based systems (Ubuntu). Configure and manage users, systems, and policies using end point security tool. Implement access controls, MFA, and SSO integrations. Monitor system performance, logs, and health; resolve issues proactively. Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or tools like Ansible. Manage patching, backups, and disaster recovery for Linux servers. Work closely with Security and DevOps teams to ensure infrastructure security. Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Must-Have Skills:

2+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator. Solid knowledge of

End point security

- user provisioning, device management, RADIUS, LDAP, SSO, and security policies. Proficiency with Bash/Shell scripting. Experience with server hardening, log management, and performance tuning. Knowledge of networking basics (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls). Familiarity with remote system management and automation tools.

Good to Have:

Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet. Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and identity management principles. Certifications: Linux+, RHCSA, or similar.
