Responsibilities
:
Install, configure, and maintain
Ubuntu Linux servers
in physical, virtualized, and cloud environments.
Manage and optimize core Linux components including
LVM, RAID, file systems, kernel parameters
, and resource controls.
Deploy, configure, and monitor infrastructure solutions using
Docker and container-based environments
.
Implement and enforce robust security policies for user access, authentication, and system hardening.
Manage and support critical services such as
, and systemd services.
Perform OS build activities, patching, upgrades, and remediation efforts to maintain security and prevent obsolescence.
Automate operational tasks using
shell scripting (Bash)
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability across all environments.
Manage Linux workloads in cloud ecosystems such as
AWS, Azure, or GCP
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and infrastructure efficiency.
Qualification & Skills
:
4+ years
of hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator, with strong specialization in
Ubuntu Linux
.
Proven expertise in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Linux environments.
Strong command over
shell scripting
, system performance tuning, automation, security hardening, and incident troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with
Docker
, container lifecycle management, and container networking.
Familiarity with cloud-managed Linux instances and infrastructure in
AWS / Azure / GCP
.
Proactive approach with a strong focus on automation, continuous improvement, and zero-downtime operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills, documentation capability, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
