You are a team player and have experience leading a technical team 80 of development activities and 20 of team leading activities on a day to day basis You have experience with building and running scientific applications Linux Docker You have good knowledge of Python 3x techniques for running jobs in parallel to handle heavy data loads unit testing but do not bring working as data scientist analytics as that s not what we need You can manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments risks issues and changes associated to the product development initiatives You assign and monitor work of technical personnel ensuring that application development and deployment is done in the best possible way and implements quality control and review systems throughout the development and deployment processes You can investigate and troubleshoot issues across the ecosystem You make sure the necessary documentation is in place and add where needed You work closely with Infrastructure teams IT architects Technical experts You automate where possible You like being challenged You support multiple agile teams You are remain aware of the latest tools and technologies EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Minimum qualification Graduate B E B Tech Required with 8 years or more experience in which at least 3 4 years of team leading experience Nice to have Microsoft Azure or AWS certification but not mandatory IT SKILLS Extensive Knowledge of Python 3 creating web services with FastAPI handling heavy data loads parallelizing processes Experience on Azure DevOps Git automated build CICD pipeline Experience with Docker Linux and nginx Experience with authentication and authorization Knowledge on scrum methodology Knowledge on Cloud Computing Nice to have knowledge of scientific software development is additional benefit eg working for a bioinformatics company or worked on similar projects but not mandatory Worked as an AIML software developer in Other industry again not data analysts but not mandatory EXPECTED HUMAN QUALITIES Mandatory skills Interested in the domain of life science genomics bioinformatics Excellent communications and presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills Excellent knowledge of English spoken and written Good organizational and planning skills Excellent training and presentation skills Pedagogic attitude patience and confidence week of work a detailed list of KPIs will be defined in collaboration along the following lines Productivity by number and complexity of escalated incidents handled Quality do it right the first time
